Dr. Cristine Drake

Dr. Cristine Drake, an Air Force Veteran, worked for the VA Medical Center for 15 years running orthopedics and also specializing in amputee rehabilitation and stroke rehabilitation, first as a Kinesiotherapist and then as a Doctor of Physical Therapy which she earned in 2012. She then worked for 2 years at the Palm Beach Neuroscience Center providing care for patients with varied neurological conditions to include movement disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke patients, Multiple Sclerosis, Cervical Radiculopathy, Tension Headaches, and Traumatic Brain Injuries.

Dr. Cristine recently has been focused on providing post-op rehab to total shoulder patients who have undergone either reverse or anatomical total shoulder arthroplasty in addition to post-op total knee, total hip, and back surgery patients. Dr. Cristine has a passion for stroke rehab and believes in the concept of neuroplasticity. She feels that if a person is provided the proper neuromuscular facilitation that they can retrain pathways to regain strength and motor control after stroke if started early.

Dr. Cristine has a strong work ethic and a true desire to provide one-on-one patient-centered care to optimize her patients’ recovery. Her favorite recreational activities include dancing, swimming, and yoga.

Kimberly Maki PTA, RCA

Kimberly MakiPhysical Therapist Assistant

She grew up in West Point Iowa and graduated from Marquette Catholic High School. There she led her volleyball team to two state births and was chosen to the first team all-state tournament team as an outside hitter. She also received first-team all-conference and district in volleyball and basketball. Sports have been her passion throughout her life which led her into physical therapy.

Kim graduated with an Associates in Applied Science degree from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids Iowa in the Physical Therapy Assistant class of 2018. During her time in the program, she spent time volunteering at a before and after school program helping kids ages kindergarten through 5th grade.

She recently moved from Iowa to Juno Beach to be closer to the ocean and to enjoy Florida winters.

Kim has a passion for improving the quality of life for her patients through manual therapy and functional exercise. She strives to provide a fun and energetic therapeutic experience and believes that a positive attitude is an essential component of therapy.

During her time off Kim enjoys being outdoors, going on adventures, traveling, and spending time with family and friends especially with her husband and their Boston Terrier named Monster.

Austin Lemaster

Served in the active-duty military as a Fleet Marine Force combat medic for the Marine Corps (HM3 FMF Corpsman) deployed in 2006 to 2008 to Operation Iraqi Freedom. And also as a medic for the Navy Bootcamp training as a sick hall HM3 Corpsman/medic.

As a physical therapist assistant, I’ve worked at Comprehensive Spine Institute CCSI in Denver, Colorado. It’s a spine clinic with orthopedic surgeons who performed laminectomies and multilevel fusions for two years as their lead PTA.

Worked at Jupiter Medical as Aqua Therapist for three years, Also working with all different types of neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and MS, spinal cord injuries, etc.

Have been working in home health with Dr. Cristine Drake for the last two years performing different types of post-op joint replacement rehab such as reverse and total shoulder, TKA & THA replacements.

My passion is to give back to all who need care. Have a special place in my heart for all military veterans. Looking forward to becoming part of anyone’s recovery team.

Charlie Huth

Physical Therapy Assistant

Charlie Huth served in the United States Navy from 2006 to 2012 as a Master at Arms with Naval Expeditionary combat command; during which time he deployed to Africa and the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In 2013, Charlie began working for the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach as an administrative support assistant in the Physical Therapy department, where he first became interested in physical therapy.

Upon graduating from Keiser University’s PTA program in 2017, he gravitated towards manual therapy, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.

Charlie is an avid weight lifter and outdoorsman. He enjoys riding his Harley Davidson, Miami Dolphins football, and helping people become the best version of themselves.
